Simmens Building of Indian River, Inc. is a three-generation, family owned business specializing in custom home construction and quality renovations. The three principals, Joe, Joe, and Robb, are each University of Florida graduates and licensed Florida General Contractors. After building more than 500 homes in the Ft. Lauderdale, Orlando, and Tampa areas, each of the family members settled in Vero Beach and continues to build the kind of trusted relationships reminiscent of “small-town” America.

Simmens Building has completed homes in Old Riomar, The Moorings, Indian Trails, Ocean Oaks, and Bermuda Bay subdivisions, as well as many renovations throughout Vero Beach.

 

Joe, Sr., spent more than twenty years in the Ft. Lauderdale area, where he followed his father into development and residential, and commercial ventures before moving to Vero Beach in 1991, when he reestablished himself as a builder of luxury homes.

 

Joe, Jr., joined the family business in 2000, when he married and moved to Vero Beach to raise his family, after building in Ft. Lauderdale and the Orlando area, where he worked for a large national builder.  Joe has built a reputation of integrity, treating each project as a personal endeavor, while collaborating with related design professionals from all over the U.S.

 

Robb worked for a well known national builder in Tampa for five years after graduating from University of Florida. He then moved back to Vero to join the family business where he has earned respect for his building and renovation knowledge, as well as his real estate knowledge. Robb listens and interacts well with clients, making communication an easy part of the building process.
